Two years ago, Sam and I were able to revisit Hanau, Germany (and nearby Rodenbach, where we lived) and pay homage to the Grimm Brothers statue that presides over the market square. It also happened to be Christmas time, so the Christmas Market was in full bloom. It was surreal to bring Liberty Frye and the Witches of Hessen along for the ride, as it was the Grimm Brothers and their birthplace in Hanau, Germany, that inspired Liberty Frye’s story in the first place.

I finally got around to sharing a short video Sam took when we brought Liberty Frye to the feet of the Grimm Brothers. I thought I’d share it here as well, and in honor of the occasion, we’re running a free promo of the kindle version from December 25-27, 2024.
